Back in November, I bought a track bike

Been tinkering a bit over the last couple of months as its a bit tatty and obviously needs a good check over for my own piece of mind.

So Ive started with repairing the fairings, mechanicals will be done march time.

Too cold to do any spraying. So equally important, Ive bought a trailer. A real bargain, but needs a lot of work (pic to follow!)

When I picked up the trailer it had a wooden base and a 25mm mild steel angle frame around it. After removing the base, we found that the frame was pretty much holding it all together. Not good news as it needs to hold two track bikes. so once the frame was cut off it left a couple of welds to remove each side to get the trailer to this......

A bit of geometry and some thick wall box section later now looks like this.......

100mm wider and as strong as

Done a bit of spraying, bit too cold ATM but I'm getting impatient! Not perfect but a lot better than how it was, and for not too much coin.
